Hyundai Samho Secures USD 280 Million Orders


Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries has received two new orders that have a combined worth of KRW 323.7 billion (USD 280.2 million).

Under the first deal, the shipbuilder will build a very large crude oil carrier (VLCC) for an undisclosed shipowner in Asia. The vessel is expected to be delivered by August 31, 2021.

The second contract includes a liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier that would be constructed for another Asian company, with delivery set for 2022.
