Qinghuangdao Port throughput rises


In the first nine months of the year, Qinghuangdao Port reportedly saw its overall throughput at its three terminals rising 30% to 290.7m tonnes from 224.3m tonnes in the previous corresponding quarter.

Dry bulk volumes grew the most and among them coal grew fastest, rising 30% and 43% to 270.6m tonnes and 176.9m tonnes respectively, it said in a stock market announcement.

Container throughput rose 12% to 903,225 teu from 807,010 teu previously.
