Ezion Holdings has officially entered the offshore windfarm market in China with the establishment of Sinomarine & Teras (Tianjin Offshore Co) with Sinotrans & CSC Holdings.
The new Sinomarine & Teras (Tianjin Offshore) company will enable the integration of China’s domestic requirements for the operations of service rigs in the offshore windfarm market.
A strategic cooperation agreement with China Huadian Corporation was also signed on 28 June to support offshore wind power installation projects in China.
Wang Kai Yuen, chairman of Ezion, said: “The development of renewable energy does not only contribute to the improvement of China’s climate and environment, but also to the world itself where the major countries have deliberated and concluded clear objectives during the 2015 UN Climate Change Conference in Paris.
“Hence, we will unswervingly adhere to this goal as a social responsibility for our business,” he said.
