Suez Canal backlog cleared SCA says

Evergreen

The Suez Canal Authority (SCA) announced it has cleared the backlog of over 400 ships waiting to transit the waterway in the wake of the grounding of the Ever Given containership 13 days ago.

The chairman of the SCA, Osama Rabie said that an investigation into what caused the vessel to run aground, is due to be completed soon. The ship is anchored in the Great Bitter Lake.

The authority is expected to publish its findings early this week.
