Piraeus Port Authority S.A. welcomed a delegation from the Embassy of Japan in Greece to its headquarters, led by Shu Tamaura, Director of the Second European Affairs Division at Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The delegation was received by the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Su Xudong, in a meeting held in a particularly positive atmosphere. Discussions focused on recent developments in the broader region, as well as the pivotal role of the Port of Piraeus in transport and trade.
The parties also examined the factors underpinning the dynamic growth of Piraeus Port Authority, which has evolved into one of Europe’s most important strategic ports.
The visit concluded with a tour of the port’s key facilities, highlighting its outward-looking orientation, modern infrastructure, international partnership strategy, and competitiveness.
