Aygaz has signed a shipbuilding contract with HD Hyundai Samho to build two, dual fuel, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) transportation vessels (90,000 cbm). The cost of each VLGC amounts to up to USD 117 million. The first vessel is expected to be delivered in 4Q28 and the second in 2Q29.
Aygaz said the new vessels would strengthen supply security and improve operational efficiency, while supporting a more sustainable transport setup through dual-fuel technology.
