Hengli Heavy Industry has reportedly received an order from Beacon Tankers for the construction of two firm plus two optional 158,000 dwt Suezmax tankers.
This is the first deal between Hengli and Beacon Tankers, a new company linked to Greece’s Procopiou family.
So far in 2026, the Chinese shipyard has clinched a total of 20 Suezmax tanker newbuilds.
