TMS Cardiff Gas, led by George Economou, is being linked to new orders at a South Korean shipyard.
More specifically, market sources suggest the Greek owner has placed an order at HD Hyundai shipyard for two very large gas carriers (VLGC), worth approximately USD 242 million, with scheduled deliveries by March 2029.
Economou recently ordered the construction of up to six liquefied natural gas carriers in China, with a capacity of 174,000 m3.
