PPA hosts Georgian delegation to explore cooperation in ports and logistics infrastructure

Piraeus Port Authority (PPA) welcomed a delegation from Georgia, headed by Tamar Ioseliani, who represented Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili.

Ioseliani oversees the Transport and Logistics portfolio at Georgia’s Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, a broad multi-sector authority supervising, among others, the energy, transport, logistics, tourism and trade sectors.

The delegation also included Levan Beridze, Ambassador of Georgia to Greece, and David Jalagania, Deputy Head of Mission at the Georgian Embassy in Greece.

The program included a tour of the port facilities and a meeting with the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Piraeus Port Authority S.A., Angelos Karakostas.

Discussions focused on matters of mutual interest in the ports, transport and logistics sectors, as well as prospects for further cooperation in the development of port infrastructure.
