PT Chandra Pelabuhan Nusantara (CPN), a subsidiary of PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (Chandra Asri Group), has officially obtained the Business License for the Operation of a Public Terminal from the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia, enabling CPN to expand the utilization of its facilities.
This license allows CPN to open access to its port facilities for industrial players and external service users, while expanding its role from a supporting facility for Chandra Asri Group’s operations into logistics infrastructure for industrial players in Cilegon and surrounding areas. CPN operates three berths with a capacity of up to 80,000 DWT, along with integrated storage and handling facilities for liquid products.
These facilities are capable of handling various liquid chemical and refined petroleum products, such as naphtha, LPG, propylene, ethylene, py-gas, raffinate-1, butadiene, and PFO, to safely and efficiently support industrial logistics needs.
In addition to the berths, CPN is also supported by a tank farm facility comprising 56 tanks with a combined capacity of 501,606 m³, as well as a strategic location with access to shipping routes through the Sunda Strait. These facilities enable CPN to support the supply chain from raw material receipt and storage to product distribution by sea. With access now open to external service users, CPN continues to expand its role as logistics infrastructure that prioritizes safety, reliability, efficiency, and service quality for industrial players.
