Navios Maritime Partners, owned by Angeliki Frangou, has announced the delivery of the newbuild oil products tanker Nave Harmony, as part of its policy to renew and strengthen its fleet with modern, technologically advanced vessels.
The new vessel is an MR2 tanker built in 2026, with a capacity of 49,998 dwt, and is designed to transport refined petroleum products such as gasoline, diesel and jet fuel. According to the company, the Nave Harmony is methanol-ready and features advanced environmental technologies aimed at improving energy efficiency and safety.
Navios Partners said the investment is part of its strategy to gradually decarbonise its fleet and reduce the environmental footprint of its operations.
