Macquarie, led by Marc Hari as head of shipping finance, has deployed more than $2 billion in the Greek shipping market since 2017, when it completed its first transaction with Atlas Maritime.

Since then, the company has made more than 75 transactions, with its current portfolio exceeding $1 billion. As it noted, more than 25 deals have been completed with Atlas Maritime.

More recently, Macquarie provided a $99 million senior debt facility to companies within the Technomar Group to refinance seven containerships. It also supported Adele Shipmanagement in financing its first bulk carriers and currently finances four vessels owned by the group.
