Eurotankers has reportedly sold an LR2 tanker built in 2009 for USD 60 million, continuing its strategy of offloading older tankers at a time when secondhand vessel prices remain high.
Market sources list the “Eurointegrity” (105,291 dwt, built by Hyundai Heavy Industries) among recent tanker sales at a price of USD 60 million. The buyer has not been disclosed.
Eurotankers had acquired the vessel in 2018 for approximately USD 20 million. Shipbrokers note that the vessel’s next scheduled drydocking is set for March 2027.
