Capital Clean Energy Carriers Corp., owned by Evangelos Marinakis, announced that it has received a “B” rating in its first CDP disclosure, achieving a significant milestone in its sustainability and climate transparency strategy.
CDP is an internationally recognized environmental disclosure system used by companies, investors and capital markets to assess and compare environmental performance.
The “B” rating corresponds to the management level, reflecting the practices and actions the company implements to identify and manage risks and impacts related to climate change.
CCEC CEO Jerry Kalogiratos noted that as a gas-focused shipping company supporting the energy transition, it recognizes that transparent reporting and disciplined management of climate-related risks and opportunities are increasingly important.
