Yangzhou COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry successfully delivered the 114,000 dwt tanker Sea Orca (Hull No. N1172), built for Pantheon Tankers, owned by Anna Angelicoussis.
Sea Orca is the third ship in a series of four LR2-type tankers being built for Pantheon Tankers.
With a length of 248.8 meters, a beam of 44 meters and a design draft of 13.5 meters, it is classified as a new generation oil tanker, with an emphasis on energy efficiency and reducing the environmental footprint. The ship meets EEDI Phase 3 standards (Energy Efficiency Design Index), incorporating modern technologies for fuel saving and increased carrying capacity.
Its delivery marks a dynamic start for the Chinese shipyard’s production activity in 2026 and is the first of five ship deliveries scheduled for January.
