DryDel Shipping’s firm commitment to strengthening its fleet with Japanese-built vessels was confirmed by the company’s CEO, Costas Delaportas.
DryDel Shipping currently has 12 Japanese-built bulk carriers, with an average age of less than 4 years, while it has ordered 10 new vessels, from Handysize to Capesize.
At the same time, the company manages approximately 45 ships in the global dry bulk transport market.
In his statements to the Japanese Kaiji Press, Delaportas emphasized that Japanese ships are a key pillar of the company’s strategy and underlined DryDel Shipping’s strong partnerships with Japanese shipyards, commercial groups and financial institutions, noting that the goal is a long-term relationship of trust and development.
