Evergreen has reportedly ordered a total of 14 LNG dual-fuel containerships in China and South Korea.
According to a report by Intermodal, Evergreen’s order comprises 14 vessels with a 14,000 TEU capacity and dual-fuel LNG propulsion, each worth about $200 million.
The $2.8 billion order is split equally between China’s Guangzhou Shipyard International (GSI) and South Korea’s Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI).
The ships are scheduled for delivery between 2028 and 2030.
