GTT has announced it has received an order from shipbuilder Samsung Heavy Industries for the design of the tanks of two new LNG carriers on behalf of the shipowner Purus.
GTT will be responsible for designing the cryogenic tanks for the two vessels, each offering a total capacity of 174,000 m³ and integrating the Mark III Flex membrane containment system developed by GTT.
Delivery of the vessels is scheduled between 2028 and 2029, the company reports.
