SITC International Holdings Company Limited said SITC Shipowning exercised on January 30 the options for the construction of two 2,700 teu container vessels under the seventh shipbuilding contract and the eighth shipbuilding contract with the shipbuilder Huanghai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. at a maximum aggregate consideration of $76.36m, subject to the final specifications of the vessels.
Delivery of the vessel under the seventh shipbuilding contract is expected to be on or before 31 January 2029; and the delivery of the vessel under the eighth shipbuilding contract is expected to be on or before 31 March 2029.
