Solstad Maritime ASA (SOMA) announced that the Construction Support Vessel Normand Ocean has been awarded a new very large contract* with DeepOcean AS.
The contract has a firm duration of three years, plus two yearly options, and is scheduled to commence in 1Q 2027.
June 26, 2024, SOMA announced a five-year firm contract with Prysmian for the Normand Ocean. This contract will instead be covered by another CSV from the SOMA-fleet.
Both vessels will then have firm commitments from long-term Clients of Solstad into next decade.
