Wan Hai Lines containership to be recycled by APT Global

The Wan Hai Lines A07 makes her maiden voyage to the Port of Long Beach California.

Following the incident on board the WAN HAI 503 on 9 June 2025, all emergency response and casualty management measures have been completed.

Following the successful discharge all containers at the Port of Refuge of Jebel Ali, on 26 December 2025, the Vessel was towed to Drydock World Dubai and successfully delivered to APT Global pursuant to a BIMCO Recycling Contract.

The Vessel arrived safely alongside at the designated berth at Dry Docks World during the evening of 12 January 2026.

APT Global is a recycling company that operates in compliance with the highest international standards.

The Vessel will now be recycled according to the requirements of the Hong Kong International Convention for the Safe and Environmentally Sound Recycling of Ships.

WAN HAI Lines will continue to engage with the relevant authorities and stakeholders as required.
