Almi Marine orders bulker pair at NACKS

Almi Marine Management announced an agreement with NACKS shipyard for the construction of two ultramax bulk carriers with a capacity of 64,000-dwt each.

Delivery of the vessels is expected in the second quarter of 2029.

The company’s managing director, Christos Hadjigeorgiou, said the ships under construction will be the first deliveries of the next generation of World-Class Design, “featuring EEDI Phase IV compliance once it becomes mandatory, and equipped with the latest Everllence 10.7 electronic main engine.”
