Capital Clean Energy Carriers has sold a modern containership as part of its fleet restructuring strategy. The buyer is BF Shipmanagement, which acquired the Buenaventura Express for approximately $120.1 million.
The ship has a capacity of 13,312 teu, was built in 2023 and belongs to the neo panamax category. This is the fourth unit to pass from the Capital Clean Energy Carriers portfolio to German ownership in two years, with the total transaction price approaching $265 million.
