Capital Clean Energy Carriers (CCEC) has filed a shelf registration for potential ship purchases or debt refinancing. The shipping company could sell USD 500 million of securities from time to time.
More specifically, a relevant SEC filing reads:
“…we will use the net proceeds from our sale of securities covered by this prospectus for general corporate purposes, which may include, among other things:
- acquisitions, including vessel acquisitions;
- paying or refinancing all or a portion of our indebtedness outstanding at the time;
- funding working capital or capital expenditures; and
- acquisition of our common shares…”
