According to shipbroking sources, the Turkish company Medkon Lines — a consistent buyer of vessels from the Contships fleet — has acquired the sister ships Contship Ono (1,118 TEU, built 2007), Contship Ray (1,118 TEU, built 2008), and Contship Vie (1,114 TEU, built 2007).

Moreover, two additional feeder vessels — Contship Eve II and Contship Max II, each with a capacity of 1,252 TEU and built in 2008 — have reportedly been sold by Contships to Metrostar Management.

Although the financial terms of the deals have not been disclosed, VesselsValue estimates the combined value of the three ships acquired by Medkon at around 34 million US dollars, while the two vessels sold to Metrostar are valued close to 30 million US dollars.
