D’Amico International Shipping announced Friday that its operating subsidiary d’Amico Tankers DAC has signed a new two-year time-charter contract, scheduled to start between November and December, for one of its MR2 vessels with a reliable counterparty at an extremely profitable daily freight rate.

Following the conclusion of this time-charter contract, DIS reported estimates of coverage with fixed-rate contracts: for the fourth quarter, it expects 39 percent of DIS’s ship days set at an average of about USD27,100 per day; for the full 2025, it estimates 25 percent of ship days at USD25,530 per day; for 2026, it expects 17 percent of ship days at USD25,075 per day.

Carlos di Mottola, CEO of d’Amico International Shipping, said, “DIS continues to gradually increase its time-charter coverage and I am pleased to announce the conclusion of a very profitable two-year contract with a well-known counterparty. I believe the terms of this agreement once again highlight the positive outlook for our market and demonstrate our customers’ strong interest in entering into long-term agreements at levels that are very attractive to us.”
