Danaos Corporation has ordered two more Newcastlemax newbuildings at Chinese shipyards, implementing a diversified investment program to build four ships.
The company confirmed the new order for the construction of two ships, with a total capacity of 211,000 dwt, with delivery in 2028.
The value of the four ships, the total order, amounts to approximately $297.3 million.
