Diana Shipping celebrates 20 years on NYSE

Diana Shipping’s CEO Semiramis Paliou has pledged to continue to focus on the dry bulk market. Diana Shipping’s CEO rang the New York Stock Exchange bell on Tuesday, as the company celebrated 20 years of presence on the US stock exchange.

The company’s CEO added that that the company’s NYSE listing since 2005 has been ‘incredibly beneficial’, adding that recent diverse investments are measured, and bulk carriers will remain Diana’s core business.

Diana Shipping is a Greek shipping company focused primarily on managing bulkers, headquartered in Athens and listed on the New York Stock Exchange. It has a fleet of 37 active bulkers, of which four are Newcastlemaxes, eight capesizes, four post-panamaxes, six kamsarmaxes, six panamaxes and nine ultramaxes. It has also placed an order for two kamsarmaxes.
