Dynacom Tankers Management has signed a new agreement for the construction of four additional VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier) crude oil tankers, each with a capacity of 300,000 dwt, further strengthening its collaboration with the Chinese shipyard Hengli Heavy Industry.
With this order, Dynacom’s total VLCC shipbuilding program at Hengli Heavy Industry now amounts to 16 ships, forming one of the largest series of supertanker orders from a single shipowner at a shipyard in recent years.
