According to a TradeWinds news report, Dynacom Tankers Management is expected to add a series of suezmax tanker newbuildings to its orderbook.
The shipping news outlets reports that the shipping firm is said to be finalizing an order for four 163,000-dwt conventional-powered crude carriers with China State Shipbuilding Corp-controlled Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding.
TradeWinds has learned that a letter of intent has been signed for the quartet, with the official newbuilding contract set to be finalised imminently.
A price for the vessels has not been disclosed, however, sources suggest it could range between USD 82-84 million each. Delivery is expected 2027-2028.
