Excelerate Energy has completed the acquisition of 173,400 cbm FSRU Sequoia from Maran Gas at the price of USD 265 million.
The FSRU is currently operating at the Bahia Regasification Terminal in Brazil and will become the youngest operational vessel in the Excelerate fleet.
“Acquiring the Sequoia, at a price well below current market value, ensures the vessel will remain an integral part of the Excelerate fleet for the long term,” said Steven Kobos, president and CEO of Excelerate.
