Hapag-Lloyd takes 49% stake in Spinelli Group

Hapag-Lloyd and Spinelli Group have entered into an agreement to join forces.

The German carrier will acquire a 49% in Italian logistics group Spinelli from existing shareholders, while the Spinelli family will continue to hold a 51% majority stake.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Completion of the deal is subject to the approval of antitrust authorities.
