Kumiai Navigation has reportedly ordered an ultramax bulk carrier in China as part of its fleet renewal program.
Managing director Tomomaru Kuroyanagi told TradeWinds that the company has signed an agreement with Nantong Cosco KHI Ship Engineering Co (Nacks).
The 64,000-dwt vessel is set for delivery in the second quarter of 2028.
