Navios Maritime Partners sold the last post-panamax vessel as part of a broader fleet renewal program that Angeliki Frangou launched in the summer of 2022.
According to the annual report, the US-listed shipping company agreed to sell a 93,062 dwt vessel – Copernicus N – built in 2010, the only post-panamax vessel among the 65 cargo ships owned by the company.
The company has sold 49 older vessels – bulk carriers, tankers and containerships – with total revenue of approximately 1.16 billion dollars.
