Petrobras is looking at new revitalization projects for its Albacora, Barracuda, Caratinga, Marlim Sul and Marlim Leste fields, in the Campos basin.
The information was provided Tuesday by the national oil company’s strategy manager, Eduardo Bordieri, during a presentation at the Offshore Technology Conference, in Houston.
The move is part of a series of measures to extend the life of mature assets.
By 2030, Petrobras is aiming for the recovery of an additional 20Bboe (billion of barrels of oil equivalent) in its operated fields, of which 5Bboe in Campos basin.
