This list is widely regarded as one of the most credible international quality benchmarks in shipping, as it evaluates maritime companies based on their performance in Port State Control (PSC) inspections—checks carried out by port authorities on foreign-flagged vessels to ensure compliance with international regulations on safety, environmental protection and labor standards.
In Seanergy’s case, the distinction is based on 96 PSC inspections conducted over the past three years across its fleet. Based on the results of these inspections, the company achieved a PSC Benchmarking Score of 69.0%, placing it among the leading capesize operators worldwide.
