d’Amico International Shipping SA said Monday that it had exercised, through its operating subsidiary d’Amico Tankers, the purchase option provided for under the bareboat charter agreement relating to the MT High Fidelity, a 50,000-deadweight-ton medium-range tanker.
The vessel, built in August 2014 by Hyundai Vinashin Shipyard in Vietnam, will be acquired for approximately $14.0m. d’Amico Tankers will take full ownership of the vessel around mid-January 2027. The price may be slightly adjusted depending on the actual delivery date.
