Evangelos Pistiolis is linked by shipping sources to an order from Central Mare for the construction of two more newbuilding MR tankers at K Shipbuilding in South Korea.
The Central Mare group, headed by Evangelos Pistiolis, will build two 50,000 dwt product and chemical tankers, whose delivery is scheduled for mid-2028.
K Shipbuilding has confirmed contracts with European and other shipowners covering six product and chemical tankers, with a total value of KRW 510 billion ($368 million).
