The Piraeus Port Authority (PPA S.A.), chaired by Han Chao, hosted a few days ago the 5th meeting of the European TREASURE project, which focused on innovative environmental restoration practices and the first results of pilot actions in European ports.
The GreenLife4Seas (LIFE) project was also presented in the context of the two-day workshop, which promotes the sustainable utilization of sediments and shells, contributing to the development of the circular blue economy.
It is worth noting that the meeting brought together representatives of organizations and experts in the sector, strengthening the exchange of know-how and cooperation on sustainability issues.
Through such initiatives, the port of Piraeus enhances its role as a hub of innovation and environmental responsibility in the Mediterranean.
